I love new things. Just the anticipation that comes with the package that arrives at your door makes my day. I confess to daydreaming a few minutes before opening it of it being THE package: you writers know what I mean. Yesterday, I waited all day for FEDEX to deliver my new phone. It’s a Samsung T404 from Straight Talk, a great cell phone with a lot of features. It’s more than a step up from the previous phones I had. It has a video recorder and camera, even an MP3 Player and can browse the web and text. Some things the cheap versions don’t. Now, I admit, I only kept them for emergencies, but this one so totally blows them away, I’d replace my landline in a minute if I didn’t need it for cable/internet access.

I am truly looking forward to exchanging photos with relatives. And the quality is excellent. The keys may be a little small so it’s not the easiest to type on, but it more than makes up for it. Plus no expensive phone contracts, now that’s my kind of deal. My kids already want their own. Lol. Love me some gizmos and gadgets. I haven’t quite figured out how to text yet but I’m looking forward to it. As well as browsing the web while I’m out and about. I’m really glad I took the plunge and bought it. Plus with a $45 a month unlimited phone, text, & internet, well, it’s practical.

So tell me about your own discoveries of late. I also did car repairs and it runs like a new one. So much smoother, so much safer. And once I get my cracked windshield replaced, it’ll look snazzy too. And then, there’s my gracious sister’s gift of her washer and dryer as she’s buying new ones (oh, so needed at this time, as my own have since died and gone to appliance heaven now, well, okay the dryer still limping along. Lol.) And with my recent gain of a new refrigerator, I’m set to go. As a single mom, it’s easy to appreciate the little things in life, especially when they come wrapped with a bow. So, spill.
