Hi!! I’m Traci Kenworth and I write YA Supernatural Horror (the genre not the TV show, although I’m one of it’s absolute biggest fans!!). I love getting to know other people and this platform building idea really encourages inter-action between bloggers of all types. Let’s see. I’m a member of a lovely group of ladies called YAFF, short for YoungAdultFictionFanatics. You can find them listed here on my blog. We are a critique group but really SO much more, we’ve become a family over the time we’ve been together. Don’t know what I’d do without them. Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Ramsey Campbell, Tanith Lee and so many more in the horror fields, in the young adult area–I like Suzanne Collins, Kendare Blake, Cassandre Clare, Carrie Ryan, and so many more, and in supernatural Frank Perritti, Tim LaHaye, and Ted Dekker among others. There really ARE too many to list. And, of course, I keep myself balanced by reading OUTSIDE the genres I write in as well. These are just a few of the great writers I’ve gotten to know and love their works.

My blog is about trying to stay positive in your drive toward the top. It’s based on lessons I’ve learned, roads I’ve traveled. They weren’t all easy, but they made me a better writer. I hope they can help you on your own path. I’ve also started to review books on the blog. I’m not sure how well I’m doing at it, but then again, I’m discovering things as I go here too. It’s definitely helped me improve my own writing with regards to noticing things while reading that can help me. Picking apart a book so to speak, teaches you valuable information.

I hope if you’re stopping by today, you’ll take a quick peek at what I have or even dive in and that it helps you remember: you’re not alone. There is support out there. We have only to reach for it.

  7. Hello from the campaign! I just joined your MG/YA group. I didn’t realize this campaign was twice yearly or I’d have been watching for it. If you get a chance, I’d love to know what you think of my short book intro on my blog. I’m a scientist by training and I’d like enough opinions to form a decent sample before I type my knuckles to the bone. I’m rewriting in 1st person and deciding which story elements to reveal sooner, later, or dump. Thanks! http://sherahart.blogspot.com
