Writerly Things…4/1/17

Traci Kenworth

I’ve reached the halfway point in my editing. Things are falling together well. I’ve had a few changes I have to keep in mind as I go along. Yes, even at this stage, you may need to add a few more strands to wrap the storyline together tighter. It’s a careful process for me. I tend to write short when I begin a story and then add to it during each pass. Not just fat though, but tie-ins that strengthen everything.

Spring arrived with daffodils popping up everywhere. I can’t believe the year is passing so fast. It seems like it just began and now March is over. How is your year going? I’m looking forward to Spring and being able to get out and enjoy the outdoors. I plan to spend a little more time out there this year. How about you? Any special plans for the warm weather? The only thing that I don’t like is the mowing season coming up. That’s no fun at all.

  1. It’s beautiful here today, and I plan on sitting outside and composing as soon as I finish an email check. Spring does wonders for creativity :)
Glad things are coming together with your WIP!
