- http://storitorigrace.blogspot.com/2017/09/the-significance-of-hair-in-stories.html Hair can sometimes make or break a character. This post gave me an idea for an opening of a second book. I love finding posts like this!

- http://avajae.blogspot.com/2017/09/on-reading-many-books-at-once.html Do you read more than one book at a time? As youโve probably seen, I do. A lot has to do with deadlines for review and having to get the books read. Iโd much rather take my time but thatโs not always the way it goes.
- http://www.adventuresinyapublishing.com/2017/09/kelly-jones-author-of-murder-magic-and.html On believing in your characters no matter how much time has gone by. I may revisit characters Iโve written in other stories but it hasnโt happened yet. I tried this summer to rewrite my first book but it just wasnโt meant to be pulled back from the drawer.

Christian:
- http://www.novelrocket.com/2017/09/nature-or-nurture.html We need both to sustain life.
- https://stevelaube.com/fail-better/ Fail better than the last time. Youโre always growing, always learning. Improve each time.
- https://stevelaube.com/researching-historical-novel/ Research is important to check your facts or your reader could check you. I try to do my best but sometimes you have to kind of guess when a date isnโt known. You can get it in the ballpark of certain events. For instance, the story Iโm working on happens near the end of King Davidโs reign. I canโt pinpoint the exact date so Iโll try and note that the story may be off with facts. I have a good five-year span so Iโm hoping things work out but I may get it wrong. Anyone else run into this problem?
