Writerly Things…5/20/18

It’s been a busy past couple of weeks. Alas, the links suffered as a result of it again this week. Sometimes, life gets in the way of things and you do the best you can. Work on my website and the search for a family vehicle kept things spinning out of control. Now, the website is pretty well set. As for the car, we found a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu LS. It’s white, not a color I’d choose but you work with what you’ve got. It has what I call a shark-fin on top which I think is the antenna. It has phone capabilities and wifi among other things.

It’s not quite what we went to the dealership for, but then I didn’t end up with the last car I went for and got a Scion then. This time around, I wanted something with more room and it does have that but not the 4wd I’d hoped for. I hope it is good in the snow. I’ve heard it’s heavier than the Scion, so it should be. It’s low to the ground though, I hope that’s not a problem with the snow. I’ve never had a car so fancy or with so many extras.

I tried to take pics of the car but the stupid camera on my phone keeps taking me to the search button. I will have to have my daughter take pics and email me them then I will post them.

As for writing, I made slow progress on LO as can be expected. In editing, I learned PitchWars doesn’t start till Aug. Not sure if it was the same last year. This’ll either give me extra time for editing or I’ll just end up subbing.
