Writerly Things…7/8/18

The reblog button continues to work well for me. It’s increased traffic to my blog as well. I hadn’t expected as much visitors as I’ve had stop by of late. Usually, it takes half a month to accumulate as many as I have seven days in. So, promising.

The heat index has died down for this week and given us weather in the eighties which is a huge relief. Although, they’re saying by Fri. the temp is going to break into the nineties again. Sigh. Our a/c isn’t working so we’re stuck with fans. It’s horrid in this sweep of temperatures.

I finished reading through my beta and I’m studying five YA books to see how they progress chap by chap. I’m also going to start breaking the scenes apart to see what needs worked on, big picture to small. I’ll use markers for this. I have index cards to write down the notes I want on the big pic stuff.
