Writerly Things…10/14/18
Traci Kenworth
I’ve been feeling under the weather the last couple days. My doctors nixed the shot I’d been taking monthly so now I have to figure something else out for my HS. It had been causing other health problems they found. Not sure if my other dr. will give me anything or not. I was allergic to a lot of what he tried, and he said that if the shot didn’t work there was nothing he could do for me. I don’t want to suffer again, so I’m hoping I can ask him to try this one medicine again. I still have the surgery in a couple of months.
It’s been a horrid week with one thing after another happening. Our internet, phone, and TV were down for days. Sites I’ve needed to go on have been down for maintenance. I see that some authors this week have been slammed for their political views. It has made me rethink even broaching politics, and other sensitive topics. Although, generally, I try and stay away from such to avoid trouble. There is such a bitter, hardness out there in some people lately. It’s scary.
I have been enjoying some great podcasts at This is Horror, Perpetual Motion, The Creative Penn, DIYMA, Brian Keene’s The Horror Show and others. I still have to catch up on 88 Cups of Tea.
I’ve continued editing my beta. It’s going good so far. I’m down to the finetuning, making sure everything is set. How are your projects going? Have a great week, take care, and God bless!
