
I’ve been at a low point lately with regard to my writing. Back in July, I changed jobs. Although my new company is very similar to the one I left behind, there was still a significant learning curve. I thought I could keep everything going, but my writing life definitely took a hit as I conformed to my hierarchy of needs by opting to put food on the table.
As I claw my way back, I was having serious doubts about the effort vs. reward when it comes to writing. I still remember the day I held my first published book in my hands. It was quite an experience and an unforgettable feeling. I still experience that every time a new box of books lands on my doorstep. I produced those things.
