Traci Kenworth

I’ve had a bit of a setback with recovery after a visit to the dr. and a fall. I have to go back and see him in a couple weeks and hope there’s not an infection in my leg at the sight of the stitches. I’m doing all that I was told but it is wearisome especially as the site continues to bleed. He did trim some of the stitches while I was in to see him. If I’m healed enough, he’ll move on to the second surgery which may prove more difficult in terms of recovery as it’s my arms and I don’t know if I’ll be able to use my computer for quite some time. It was hard enough with actually being able to sit up to get to my desk, lol. Yeah, I tripped putting some things away in my closet and thankfully fell on some blankets but not enough padding to save me some hurt.

In other news, I did finish my query and synopsis and I’ve started reviewing notes on agents for submissions and gathering as much info as I can to personalize things. It feels a bit like stalking, but this is what the advice is: to find out what agents like as far as submissions and follow those guidelines to insure that you get pulled out of the slush pile. Of course, then you have to hold their attention to keep from being put back into the pile, lol.

How is everyone? How are your projects? Have a great day, take care, and God bless!

  1. I am so sorry to learn about your fall, Traci. I wondered where you were as I noticed you hadn’t been around much. Sending you healing thoughts.

    1. Thanks, Robbie! I most likely won’t get back into the swing of things till mid-way through the year. Everything should be done by then and I should hopefully be on my way back to full health.
