I’m having some issues with my electric. Had the electrician come out and it’s going to cost $1500.00 as the main breaker is fried. It happened during the storm a few nights ago but I don’t know if the insurance will pay anything on it as nothing fell on it. The damage is in the inside box. They are going to have to tear the wall out and replace the panel. Ergh, not the best news but it could be worse. I was estimating much more for the repairs. Thank God it didn’t turn out to be that. I almost cried when he said the 1500 not that that won’t be hard to come up with, but the odds are much more in our favor.

I’ve been working on the behind scene stuff for the second draft of my next YA novel. Right now, I am using the character builder over at OneStop for Writers. It helps me put my character together and fully form who they are. I’m liking the tool a lot so far! For instance, it gives you choices of wounds and then helps you dig into the specifics. It does the same for positive and negative traits, fears, etc. You can even add a photo of your character and then be able to print out a copy of what you came up with to help with your drafts.
