Writerly Things…4/22/19 Moving Forward
Traci Kenworth
I am about a week-and-half out of surgery now. Although I still hurt, I’m able to get around and get things done. I’ve been able to do some things on the blogs and with writing and reading. I have another outpatient surgery in May but that one will be next to nothing compared to the two previous ones. Already, I’m moving beyond this.
Thoughts on the Future:
So, with that said, my thoughts turn to the future and what I might accomplish this year. We’re four months into this year and I haven’t given up that it might be my best year yet. I’ve sent my partial off to an editor for her advice. I’ve never worked with an editor before but I’m looking forward to this and hopefully, she’ll be able to point me in the right direction. I feel at a standstill as it is right now.
I’m going to be picking up things with the blogs as I go along. The amount of posts may add up. Right now, I’m posting at least once a week with links on each blog. I’m also varying between one to two posts a week on a rotation. That may change to three posts a week on each, depending on how my production goes. I want to pick up my stories and submitting to other blogs. As I said back in Jan., I want to branch out with things.
Putting my Writing Ahead of my Blog:
I do intend to keep my writing before my blog. I want to be known for my writing, but I know a lot of things go into that. There are blogs. There are guest blogs. Stories. Marketing. The list goes on. I know that most authors out there know what I mean. It’s not just write the book and you’re done. Superstar. You keep on, maybe never getting the recognition you want. Still, don’t lose heart. You write for your readers. They’ll follow you anywhere.
Have a great week, take care, and God bless!

Yes, as much as I can. I still hurt and have a little issues but they’re getting along.
