Writerly Things 9/30/19: The Adventure Unfolds
Traci Kenworth
Bought the website for our adventure into recipes, books, writing, dollar hacks, pets, and more. We’re still in the process of setting it up but it should be up and running by Oct. 1st with any luck. We’re going to start off with a month of Halloween goodies if all things go right. I can’t wait to get started! I’m having so much fun with the idea. I love to be creative and cooking has always been a big adventure for me. Especially with desserts, of course.
My daughter is joining me in this, and my son will be the taste tester and help with coding. Some recipes might not always work the way we plan, but we’ll let you know what we think went wrong. We might find a better way to correct things. Deviating from recipes and making our own versions have always been fun. As I’ve said, my daughter has a gluten-allergy and my son is lactose-intolerant. He has been helped quite a lot with the yogurt-like drink, Kefir. It allows him to eat more dairy than he previously could without problems.
I have an allergy to oranges so I can’t use them in recipes. My son has an allergy to red dye #40, or some versions anyway, some are fine. The ones in Skittles are a no-no for him though. My daughter is allergic to shellfish. I hope you will visit us when we get set up. Have a great week, take care, and God bless!

How exciting, Traci. I get it about the family food allergies. I’m terribly allergic to eggs. It’s amazing how many things have eggs hiding in the ingredients. Wishing you huge success with the new blog. Hugs on the wing!
