In Kochery C Shibu’s ‘Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar’, we come across Nanda, an engineer working in building dams near the Dhauladhar range, a Kalari expert and a runaway; Khusru, a young Kashmiri youth lead away by the ‘bearded men’ to a terror camp, a mere pawn in the game finds himself working in the dam; and Rekha, a doctor, a Kathak dancer who had roamed the world but finds herself a man who makes her heart go ‘dha dhin dhin na’. What fate has in store for them under the looming Dhauladhar range?
