Nice.
Today we are allowed to post on dVerse what is called OPEN LINK this one below was posted by myself several years ago.
Searching and with good fortune found this particular but exciting format on shadowpoetry.com. A form invented by Christina R Jussaume and titled it — “The Christ-in-a-Rhyme,” a shape poem of the spiritual nature.
This poetry, when completed consists of five 3-lined stanzas that must rhyme; with a syllable count of each stanza, is as follows:
Stanza 1 – 8 syllables
Stanza 2 – 14 syllables
Stanza 3 – 7 syllables
Stanza 4 and 5 – 5 syllables.
The poem should be centered to show the cross that is created.
Below is my humble attempt, I hope you enjoy it and will try writing one today, yourself. Your challenge from me!
Empty ourselves God will fill us.
Peace of soul true happiness plus,
nevermore will there be mistrust!
